The product label is second chair.


This is one of those rare examples of product photography – and particularly beer/wine photography – that manages to highlight the actual liquid beverage rather than the product label. Maybe it’s because usually product labels are so flashy and fancy that they kind of steal the spotlight, and this one is quite plain. But, honestly, this works. I’m not so interested in the bottle and I really want to drink the beer. It would be great product photography for maybe a blog entry talking about the beer, but obviously not so much if the visual is all the viewer gets. I also love the rich, warm colors in this photograph. It just works. This photograph was published by Bernt Rostad.
