Mystery Focal Point

At first I couldn’t tell what this was. Was it some kind of plumming tube or metric tube? Was it part of a toy or a railing? But it’s actually a broken bicycle frame! I guess it goes to show you, you don’t always need to be able to tell what something is for it to be a striking composition. Because the color and perspective on this photo certainly is striking. I love how it is nice and sharp on the break, but gets blurrier in every direction. It creates a fascinating focal point! This photo was posted under creative commons by Richard Masoner. Thanks, Richard!
