I’ll admit it. I have a weakness for computer components. I guess because I’ve been building computers from an early age. I see in them beauty, potential, order, and a magnitude of things. So when I find a picture of a multilayer PCB or even just a photo of a circuit board that highlights the potential art in arrangement of PCB parts, well, I just can’t resist it. I’ve gotta post it. I’ve gotta talk about it. I can’t stop looking at it. This particular photo is of a bit of an antique when it comes to computing hardware. The Sinclair ZX81 is from the late 80’s! It really is gorgeous, though – all the parallel lines and the functionally unimportant color scheme. It was once a fancy calculator. Now it’s art.
