Wow. No, I mean, just wow. There is so much to take in with this photograph. The textures and lines, not to mention the stark contrast of the sea foam green with the rustic browns of the thicket, is indeed nothing short of art. And it is really a great example of how framing can be everything. The decision to show just the right amount of the fire hydrant, and have its surface act as both the focal point and negative space, is really what makes this photograph work so well.
