This close-up photo by Jeremy Keith is pretty cool. I mean, it’s not uncommon to find photos of wine bottles and even wine labels, but a braille wine label! I just can’t get enough of how the bumps cast all these interesting little shadows, giving what would otherwise be a fairly mundane photograph a really awesome, unique sense of composition. It’s actually kind of surprising to me that this kind of embossed labeling isn’t more common, particularly with custom wine labels. I suppose maybe the cost is prohibitive. It just seems to be that it would be a really nice industry standard. And I say that completely removed from any aesthetic photography benefit!
