Winter Bouquet

This beautiful photograph is a stellar example of how some of the best art, especially when it comes to nature photography, is not always the most obvious. Paying attention to details really pays off, and a composition can be very small and outwardly mundane. But, for a skilled photographer behind the lens, this kind of gorgeous art is possible. I especially love the hints of green in the blurry background – they make the browns and golds of these withered flowers really “pop”, and the blur contrasts just perfectly with the slim, crisp stems of the plant. This photograph was published under creative commons by Chris Breeze. Thanks, Chris!
