Lead Windows

Old Window At Hutch Commons

I love the dark elegance of this historical lead glass window surrounded by drooping vines and pale stone. Lead glass not only serves practical and decorative functions, you will find lead windows across a number of industrial applications as well. For example, lead glass can be used in the medical industry for radiation protection in x-ray rooms, laboratories, and radiation therapy rooms.  For those of us who may never find a need for lead glass observation rooms, we can enjoy the rustic charm of older buildings that still have lead glass windows.
