Stunning & Startling

Stainless Steel Scultpure in Five Ways Island

This sculpture is both stunning and startling. It appears to be a cross between fine art and futuristic torture device. Thanks to passivation the shiny and rust free stainless steel will continue to catch the light with exquisite drama for years to come. This photo of the Stainless Steel Sculpture on Five Ways Island was shot by Elliott Brown using, of all things,  a mobile phone camera. Just goes to show you that a fancy camera isn’t always necessary to get a noteworthy shot. The sculpture was created by Alexander Mann and was placed in the middle of Five Ways in Birmingham England in 1973.
