Broken glass doesn’t usually look so pretty! The safety glass has left millions of small cracks in the surface, creating an expansive web that almost looks like wire knit together. The colors reflected are similar to those of a ocean sunset; gentle tones rising against a clear blue sky, the breaks mirroring choppy waves in the ocean. The slant in the framing gives the feel of moving tides. Adding to the overall composition, the photographer has used the rule of thirds well in the point of focus. This is the softer side of broken glass.
