I am not typically a fan of very filtered and processed photos, but this one is different. The antique patina plays well with the chipped window paint and adds more depth to the sky. It also brings out every little mark and smudge on the glass, giving a nice gritty feel. When I saw this was at a train station, everything fell into place even more.
The cross section of the window provides a great focal point and I appreciate how it is slightly angled; just a little off-kilter and not quite perfect. We are drawn into the reflection of the clouds rather than peering into the windows. It is as if we are meant to follow the movement of the sky, just like the trains going in and out of the station. The texture and contrast in this image is great.
