Orderly Disorder

boats in nepal
On mirror smooth water in Nepal’s Plewa Lake, these boats float like ducks on the surface. The lively colors used to paint the watercraft makes them stand out from the lake on this overcast day, the paint almost appearing to melt into the watery reflections. The orderly disorder created by lining up the boats not-quite-perfectly is very pleasing to the eye, especially with the framing of this shot. To add some extra interest, a small group huddles together in one of the wooden structures in the distance. They almost look like a raft of ducks, which really ties things together.
