lavender & bee
Doesn’t this photograph instantly relax you? Right in front, a group of lavender plants softly exudes color. The use of shallow focus makes them so central, the viewer can nearly smell their sweet perfume, which is strong enough to be drawing in a bee from afar.

The angles add another great dynamic to the image. At the left, we start at the lowest point, gradually moving upward as our eyes travel across the hills, the flowers, and onto the rooftop. It is skillful framing of the organic world, aided by the built structure’s complementary design and the bold yet muted colors throughout.
