I came across the art of light painting awhile back and have been amazed by it ever since. This one is utilizing steel wool. Just look at the spheres and sparks! It is as if it is raining light on the edge of a city’s lake. We have thick, even striations forming perfect circles and then wavy unpredictable skinny bursts of energy down below. Other spots look like upside down fireworks landing in a puddle. Movement and optimism fill the frame and the night – I love it!
Saad Faruque is the photographer (and light painter) and he shared with creative commons. Thanks for lighting up our day, Saad!
