power lines
Emphasized by black and white, the angles of these power lines have a distinct art deco feel to them. The clouds go across the frame, similar to the brushstrokes of a watercolor painting. The towers stand tall, placed deliberately and crisp as if they were hand-drawn with permanent black ink. The photograph is cold and ordered just like the grid these lines are part of, yet still emits energy.

Angelo DeSantis took this photo in Southern California and shared under creative commons.
