Macro Makes Everything Beautiful

This old world can be a very beautiful place, provided one knows where to look. Or, sometimes, how to look. For example, this photo of a wire brush:

Hand tools don’t get much more utilitarian than a wire brush. These guys really do the “dirty work,” as they’re commonly called upon to clean the accumulated rust, dust, dirt, mud, and other filth off of other objects.

But, through the eye of a seasoned photographer like Steven Depolo, a wire brush can be a thing of beauty. The key here is the macro lens, which can turn the smallest, most delicate detail into a visually-stunning photograph.

Macro makes everything beautiful. You just have to know how to look.
